Crazy for Seaside.

For Chamber and the Visitor Center

You list the town. We sit on the page Google already opened.

Visitors planning a trip may use seasideor.com or the Chamber list. Visitors already in Seaside usually Google a shop and land on that shop’s own site. The guest card lives there — not as a second directory.

  1. Step 1

    Tales, free

Owner stories and event previews. No invoice to be in the magazine. Editorial is not for sale.

  2. Step 2

    A site, optional

A clear page from the story, if they want one. Coverage does not depend on saying yes.

  3. Step 3

    A guest card, later

A widget on their site suggests other local places — never a rival in the same category.

The rule you can say in a meeting

A business never sees another business in the same category. A hotel shows food, a bookshop, a show — not another hotel. A candy shop does not send you to the candy shop next door. Maps, lodging lists, and what is on this week stay with the Visitors Bureau.

On a hotel site

Lodging does not see lodging.

While you’re here

On a candy shop

Shops are added in the studio with a name, town, and widget category, then opted in. Installing the card is how they become eligible to appear on someone else’s site. The magazine does not require the card.
